I am a chemical engineer with a doctorate in natural sciences and have worked in the process industry for more than 20 years. I work as an independent consultant for process development, automation and scale-up, with no financial interest in suppliers, plants or systems.

Development of cross-linked Lyocell staple fibres from the pilot plant through to implementation at the production plant. Two US patents on which I am listed as inventor: US12270128B2 (cross-linked Lyocell staple fibres, granted 2025) and US10093790B2 (Lyocell moulded bodies / granules, granted 2018).

Aerospace laminates for Airbus applications (publicly recognised by Airbus), development and production of flame-retardant embossing resins and hot-melt adhesives, R&D roadmap development.

Process optimisation in production of biotechnology-based spinning silk: wet-spinning process from recombinant spider silk protein, fibre quality significantly improved through process adaptation. (~1 year)

Active mandates are confidential. NDA is standard. I do not name current clients without their explicit permission.
I am an independent consultant. I work without a team of my own, but closely with yours. That means direct communication and no handover to junior staff.
